After my father passed away, i became committed to helping other family and it became my GOD GIFT to care for my clients with as much of love as it was my own family member. It give me great pleasure taking care of peoples. This is not just a job for me but a blessing!!!

I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage.
I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. I'm a certified assistant living manager, private caregiver, and studied massage technique . Thank You. I am a loving, compassionate caregiver, who believes in providing the highest degree of quality care and service to patients in their homes, assisted living, memory care, Hospice or other types of facilities; and am seeking the opportunity to give back to our elderly, the respect and caring they deserve.
The thing I enjoy most about caring for others is the blessing I receive from the patients. I think the Lord has called me to this type of work so that He, in working through me, shares the comfort, peace and love, that only He can give.
I have discovered in working with the terminally ill or those in Hospice, that they end of blessing me far more as I learn about their background, family, spiritual beliefs -- they become my family.
One of my most precious moments, was being with a sweet lady who was at the end of life. As the CD's played soft music of old hymns and after praying and reading scripture to her for several days; I experienced her smile and hand on my cheek, just before the angels escorted her from this world into Glory.
