I enjoy spending time with residents, talking with & learning from them. Learning people's preferences & incorporating them in their care brings such satisfaction & joy to them it brightens my day knowing I made a difference in someone's life. I was awarded employee of the month after 2 months of working in a long term facility for teamwork, respect for the residents, family & staff enough to hear & see them & paid attention to the little details that were important to them.
