I am a very patient and attentive person. The most rewarding and precious thing we all have is our time and devotion. My goal as a caregiver is to empower as well as, revive a sense of personal independence. Building self esteem and administering a heavy dose of reassurance, are my strong points. I am a Medical Assistant, I have been a Cosmetologist for over twenty years, so I have a great bedside manner. I am a Christian. Hello my name is Keiara Robinson, and I'm from West Memphis, AR. One of my best personality traits is the fact that I'm goofy. I can literally make a joke out of bread and that's what makes my patients care about me the most because I can be myself. What attracted me to being a caregiver was taking care of my grandmother as my first client. I made such a big deal in her life and I wanted to do the same for others. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I still get to do everyday life things but with my patient. A personal achievement I'm proud of is learning to be my own person and not overthink about what others think.

Let me start by stating, entrusting a stranger with the life of a loved one or yourself can be quite daunting. Being a caregiver is much more than technical qualifications; it requires heart, soul, laughter, patience, compassion, and human nature at its most vulnerable state. This is why I am passionate about what I do. I have a very colloquial personality which keeps me fluid with other personalities. I have cared for elders in my community and I enjoy helping them preserve their independence as long as possible and becoming enriched with their history. I am proud of achieving the knowledge of my self worth and the worth of others, along with growth through writing and photography. I have experience with Parkinson's patients as well, and that has been a crowning honor for myself. More so, I find myself living through the wisdom and history of each person's story and take that knowledge through my own journey. 1) I love helping others and my grand mother told me I would make a great caregiver. I have always been a caregiver but I applied for a job one day and I have doing it every since. Also I took care of grandmother until she was 91. 2) I love caring for people and I feel like everyone needs help some times. We owe our elderly so much and this just my way of giving back. 3) I raised 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy) and nobody is in jail. Caregiving is the ultimate act of love. Caregiving changed perspective on life! My mother took care of my grate grandmother when I was little. She would let me help and it ment the world to me making them smile! My giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those in need is how I knew caregiving was for me. My greatest achievements are the moments I get. I have learned while my patient say they couldn't get through this without me, I am the one who gets the biggest gift of all! All my patients have enriched my life in many ways!
