Am a God fearing Man ,loving and caring person ,Helping and serving I love doing it since it's give me fullfilment in this world ,am a devoted person to do my work in professional way and above all I love socializing with new people .

I started doing home care in June 2009 as a Nurse Assistant/ PCA , I mainly did private duty cases overnight 11pm-7am and I really enjoy it. It was hard at times but i enjoy taking care of my clients , making sure they were fed, bathed, and had a good night rest. Most of my home care clients had dementia or was recovering from surgery or some sort. I started doing homecare when i was temporary taking care of my grandmother while my parents were at work , after i graduated from high school . i would have to say that was a personal achievement of mine , to get my Nurse Assistant/PCA certification after helping caring for my grandmother.

I have compassion, love, patience for what I do as a Certified Nurse Assistant and as a Hospice Aide. I took care of my mom and sis which made me want to be a nurse assistant for life!!

I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.

Some things about me and why I became a care giver. I love to give a helping hand to someone who needs it. When I help others it teachs me new ways to view life. Being a caregiver isn't just being a helper its about being a friend and a good listener also being able to understand how others view life and what makes them smile and what makes them happy. I have 19 years of experience in the medical field and work with clients in their home, nursing home and hospital setting.

I have been a caregiver since I was 15 years old. I took care of my grandmother as she went through radiation and chemotherapy for liver and colon cancer. I took care of the housework and was responsible for cleaning her colostomy 3 times a day. I cared for her husband who also had dementia and alzheimers. As I grew up, i then cared for my mother who had non-hodgkin's b-cell lymphoma of the brain which affected her mental abilities. I cared for my aunt who developed lung cancer and had to undergo treatment as well. I cared for mybuncle who suffered PTSD, emphysema, copd, and diabetes. I have a step daughter with mental disabilities as well as neurological issues and epilepsy. I have been a caregiver most of my life and has been something I have felt comfortable with no matter how hard times have seemed. I am now 38 years old and have been doing this over half my life. Helping others is something that has given me fulfillment in my life.

Hello ,my name is Monquisha but I go by Quisha I've been a CNA for 10 years now I have worked in home health, hospice and on a memory care unit. What got me into the health filed was I use to work in a facility in dining I had became so close to a lot of the patients that I was serving and it made me want to do more with the elderly. That's when I decided to go back to school for my CNA'S and I love the decision that I have made . I love caring for others and I'm very passionate about what I do in some cases a caregiver is all a patient has some have they families close and some depends totally on caregiver . And I live to be that person .
