I am dedicated to providing excellent care to my clients, I feel it shows when I come in to see my clients are excited to see me, I love to bring a smile to my client's because I feel sometimes that's all it takes to change a outlook on a situation is a smile and a caregiver who really cares as I do . Over the past 6 years, I have had the privilege of working as a caregiver, both privately and within professional healthcare settings. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of individuals in need of care and assistance. I have successfully assisted clients with daily activities, medication management, mobility support, and emotional companionship. I take great pride in my ability to foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being. In addition to my practical caregiving skills, I am certified in CPR and First Aid and CNA. I am also adaptable and quick-thinking in emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times. I look foward to working with you and your family.

I have 20 years of experience working in the medical field as a Physician Assistant. I have additional studies in nutrition and yoga and have a personal interest in lifestyle medicine. I have a BS in Medicine, and am certified as a PA. I also have certificates in BLS (CPR), ACLS, PALS and plant based nutrition.

Caring for our seniors is perhaps the greatest responsibility we have, those who walked before us have given so much and made possible the life we all enjoy. I love care-giving to those that would otherwise not be able to do so, the the smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel that I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people, so I know I am doing the right thing. The thing I like best about being a caregiver is meeting new people and providing care-giving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, I even enjoy watching their favorite television shows with them, that means a lot to me, I feel that's more rewarding than any paycheck can ever be. It is important to laugh. I always treat my clients as if they were my family and I care, love and protect them. I have been a home caregiver for eight years, I took great care of my grandmother and mother as well. I started a family of my own within this time frame. I am a certified nursing assistant. I have a lot of in home care-giving experience. I love to exercise, hike, bike-riding, cooking and eating healthy. I'm very open minded, love talking with and interacting with my clients, companionship is a great deal to me, I have achieved many goals in my life and learned not set too many at once it prevents the discouraging nature and set backs, one of my favorite goals of completion and success is becoming a health and wellness fitness coach. I live a healthy lifestyle, I love to make a positive difference in people lives.

I'm always smiling and cracking jokes. I come to my job put together, and open my arms to any kind of challenge. With some residents, we dance to the bathroom. With others, we have a light switch that is broken that I need them to come help me with. Stories and communication are my best friend. I love working with dementia patients, but I am also very wonderful with more independent elderly as well. I am physically strong, and can lift over 50lbs. I can cook high protein health conscious meals and I will ALWAYS push hydration. I can handle some combative behavior, please be honest with me. I firmly believe that I take care of my clients just as I would myself such as including proper body hygiene care and oral care. I am able to help with feeding. I am CPR/First Aid trained and certified. I am fire safety certified. I am mental health, and dementia certified. I have an operating legally owned and insured vehicle. I would prefer to stay local, but would be willing to negotiate pay if services are needed from a further distance. When I first became a caregiver I never thought I would ever become one. I learned so much, so quickly, and so eagerly. By the time I was crosstrained with assisted independent elderly, and dementia/mental health and behavior challenged elderly, it began to feel effortless and empowering. I am so passionate for, and about the people I care for. Dementia isn't always patient, and dementia isn't always kind. It's challenging work but I will show up on time, and your loved one is my number one priority with a smile. I consider myself a guest in every clients home, therefore I reciprocate that belief into the quality of care and my positive behavior. I am a great listener, and I will validate your loved one in whatever they believe as long as it doesn't involve harming themselves, or others.

So much I could write here. First off I think its important to remember that this is more than a job. Where ever I am whether it be a house or a facility I think its so important to remind yourself that you may be working but this is someones home and its not a job for them. I take care of people how I would like someone to take care of my family members. I am super positive person and very empathetic but understand the importance of getting things done especially when it comes to someones health.
