I willingly gave up my childhood to ensure my mother was cared for to the best of my ability. Being her companion as a daughter and a caregiver really gave me joy and allowed me to recognize my purpose at a young age. I love what I do and I take proud in helping those in need. I guess the main question would be why should I be a good candidate for the position offered. My name is Lee Kirk I am a 33 year old male. I am new to home health care but have been working at Genesis Healthcare in a long term care facility for almost a year now. I am about to test to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and soon I plan on changing my major at Eastern Gateway Community College we're I currently go to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. I actually have a 18th month old son that has a disability that my wife and I have to make sure he gets the right care for and make sure that we show him extra love and care, which is what brought me to join the medical field and pursue this career. To be able to care for and touch other people's lives and make sure they get the care they need is a passion. Now days it seems that people don't get the care that they need and deserve and I promise I will do my best to never let that happen to anyone in my care.
