I became a caregiver so I could give back to my community and people. I like being a caregiver because I can provide help and meet the required needs. When I see a smile on my client's face, this lets me know that the person is satisfied and pleased. One of my achievements is becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am also certified as a Leasing Consultant. I'm currently enrolled in school online for Billing and coding. I'm a wonderful mother too! Hello! My name is Madison, but most people call me Maddie, dealers choice. I absolutely love being a caregiver! It brings me such happiness and fulfillment being able provide assistance to those who need it. I know how hard it can be to take care of your loved ones, and how hard it is to give trust to someone else to care for them. My mother and I were the soul caregivers for my grandmother (for over 10 years) up to the day she ended up in the hospital and passed away. It was so hard for me to let go of her to the hospital, but the CNA's, and nurses there were absolutely amazing, taking great care of my grandma and making sure we as the family were okay. That's when I decided to start care-giving as a career. Best decision I have ever made! Having worked at different types of care facilities for awhile, I wanted to give in-home care a try. Being able to spend more one on one time, being able to have an open line of communication with family/POA for any and all needs (big one), so many things appeal to me about in-home care, and all of it is based on being able to give the best care I can possibly give to not only help my patients, but their families. I want to be someone you can trust to take care of you or your loved ones, because if I take care of you, your family to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Have a blessed day! Always, Madison

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years and enjoy working with people and being part of their lives. I ran a retirement home as an assisted-living director and ran the dining room and started the Alzheimer's unit. I have been working with home health agencies and also at facilities and enjoy doing activities with the residence and seeing people smiling and laughing because most of them do not have families that come and visit them so basically we are their family. I enjoy being a caregiver and being in their homes because then you get to be one on one with them which makes caregiving more personable and it's a blessing that most of them can stay in their homes. Being a caregiver is not a talent or something that you can be trained on it's mostly what's in your heart and knowing that the elderly need good people to take care of them and One day we are going to be in the position where we will need someone to take care of us so knowing that there are good caregivers out there it just makes it easier on the family to take care of their loved one.

Hello my name is Lynnett I am 32 years old and I have been working in some kind of caregiving big chunks of my life. When I was a teenager I would babysit family and people around my neighborhood, as I became an adult I worked as a nanny/assistant teacher at a Montessori school for two years . I worked with children who had autism as well as other behaviors. For the past five years I've been working in caregiving I enjoy working with the elderly very much. I've worked in facilities like Memory Care, skilled nursing as well as just Assisted Living. I enjoy working with the elderly a lot I was very close to my grandmother as a little girl and when I was 18 she passed away, but before she passed away I took care of her in her own home and that is kind of what got me into this field. I also worked as a cook for 5 years in an Italian restaurant and I only quit when the restaurant itself closed. I am a fast learner I enjoy challenges as well as new experiences. I am very compassionate, patient as well as nurturing. I know that I would be welcomed into your own personal home and therefore I am a guest as well as an employee so whatever rules or needs that your loved one has I am willing to abide by those. I know everybody has their own ways of doing things and I don't want to take control away from your family member I want them to know that I am only there to assist them and whatever they want me to do for them. I would love to assist you in anything that you need.
