Hi my name is Leandra, I am currently looking to fill my evenings in assisting, providing companionship to someone who needs it. I work full-time at a physical therapy office and have plenty of experience in healthcare, care taking and companionship.

Am a loving person with lots of rooms to learn something new everyday. I have experience in hospital,hospice,nursing homes and homecare setting. Am license in state of colorado with certification in nurse aide and BLS/CPR. I have knowledge of proper care, feeding, wound care, grooming and catheter care. Am a very reliable person who create positive environment and good atmosphere for patient, family member and my coworkers. I have about 13 years experience as a certified nurse aide and also have experience in housekeeping to provide help and encouragement to those who are physically disabled in other to make them feel at home and loved at all time. Am able to work with or without supervision. I am experienced in computer chatting and understand medical terminology. Monitoring patients and providing all kind of activity of daily living are my major task as a certified nurse aide. I Have good experience in most kinds of restraint monitoring and the relief period, Alzheimer, Dementia, Parkinson, sitting with group or one on one patient are also something am very good at.

I'm caring, loving , passionate and hardworking person, I enjoy being a caregiver because I can meet and learn with my patient's past experience. My personal achievement being a caregiver is if the patient treat you as a family.

I took interest in Caregiving 27 years ago when I needed to earn extra money on top of my regular place of employment. Since then I've worked both for an agency and also do private caregiving. Caregiving is now my full time job. I enjoy and find it very rewarding to help someone in need and hope that someday if needed I'll have someone with my abilities and personality to care for me. I find it very rewarding to be there for someone in need and to also meet new people. I once was told that you cannot make caregiving personal and I absolutely disagree with that. The client becomes your friend whom relies on you for so much. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is becoming the hard working caring mom and grandma that I am. I love making people happy

Hey,my name is Nora I been doing caregiving for 4 years.It all started when I had my grandma she was very sick I took care of her,and I started to realize it was something I loved and enjoyed doing.I love to help and include the person in helping as much as I can I'm a very nice and fun person I try to make a laugh out of anything.Happiness is everything.I do have experience with mostly anything you can name with the job"caregiver ".

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years and enjoy working with people and being part of their lives. I ran a retirement home as an assisted-living director and ran the dining room and started the Alzheimer's unit. I have been working with home health agencies and also at facilities and enjoy doing activities with the residence and seeing people smiling and laughing because most of them do not have families that come and visit them so basically we are their family. I enjoy being a caregiver and being in their homes because then you get to be one on one with them which makes caregiving more personable and it's a blessing that most of them can stay in their homes. Being a caregiver is not a talent or something that you can be trained on it's mostly what's in your heart and knowing that the elderly need good people to take care of them and One day we are going to be in the position where we will need someone to take care of us so knowing that there are good caregivers out there it just makes it easier on the family to take care of their loved one.

I have been at this type of work for about 15 years .I love the work , It makes my life more meaningful. To help someone who can not do it without assistance. To make them smile to make their days better. I will treat with the most respect for I to may be here someday.
