I am a certified nursing assistant. I was a former dietary aide in Buckhead, Atlanta, Ga and after some time of working very close with the elderly residents and staff I decided I wanted a career change as a CNA. I attended Covenant CNA school and received my graduating diploma and license in less than 4weeks. Since then I have develop a host of professionalism in various skills far as Total care, Dementia/Alzheimer, Gtube Feedings, Hospice/Palliative care and more. I have worked in all settings from Homecare, Assited Living, Hospice and Nursing home Rehab Facility

Hello my name is Ravette Pickens im 35yrs old from Cincinnati ohio. I live in Douglas county . I am married with a 14yr old son and im the oldest of 7 so im pretty much use to being the person others depend on and leaning on me for support. I started out in the health field in 2008 working with the disabled people.. From the ages of 5 and up. I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech, I am currently in school for Radiology Tech. I definitely love my health career and plan on staying in this field for a while

I originally became a caregiver to make sure my mom was going to be well taken care of when she got a certain age. Some years ago my girlfriend got sick and needed assistance with someone who could help her with feeding, dressing, hair care and house cleaning. Not knowing what I know today back then, I was still able to fulfill that gap and enjoyed myself while doing it. What I like the most is the smile that I leave on my clients face daily. My personal achievement I am proud of is completing my certification. Not only am I able to take care of my friend and/or my mom when need be but I now know a lot more than I did when I started school. I am 56 years of age. I love my job in taking care of any one who may need my help. I have a warm heart. I complain of nothing or no one. I am a very hard worker. I come early and stay late. I love a challenge.
