I am a very dedicated person who take my job seriously, very passionate with my Job and take delight in doing what I do. Being a Caregiver is very rewarding to me and always treat my Client with dignity and respect and treat them as my own. Taking care of my dying Mother at a younger age gave me the pride to take that path and to always take care of my Client with a passion. I am very dedicated and take my job seriously. The fact that I am able to put a smile of Clients face and to take care of them with joy and pride alone fills my heart with happiness and makes me grateful each day for choosing that path. I have taken care of a lot of Client for all this years and being able to take care of a particular Client for more than 4years when Doctors had told the family She had 6 months to live a lone makes my happy. Care is not only about taking care of someone but as to how you treat the person and make them feel makes a huge difference. That made me so proud of my self because it made me realize I made a difference and I did my job as a caregiver and recognized the client as a family of my own

As an individual, I am compassionate and empathic, and I have a great deal of respect for other people. In the beginning of my nursing career, I was a certified nursing assistant. I decided to pursue nursing care when my grandfather was on the verge of death. We searched for someone who would care for our family in a respectful and caring manner, but we were unable to find one. So, i decided to pursue nursing, which I love, and now I am working as a registered nurse. Currently, I am working in the medsurg department as well as the emergency room. With six years of nursing experience, I have worked with many different types of patients, such as those with G. Tubes , IV medications, wound care management, and those with storks. It is my belief that one of the most enjoyable things about being a care giver is the fact that I get to learn a lot from the elderly. There is always something new to learn from them when you pay close attention and listen to what they have to say.

I enjoy getting to know people and also taking care of them. When I was a little girl my mom was a single mother so my grandparents always took care of me so my mom was able to work. I always said I would take care of my grandmother when the time came, unfortunately my grandmother passed away due to Parkinson's however I continued being a caregiver and treat every client I have as one of my grandparents. I love getting to know others and how life growing up was for them. They offer me so much wisdom and knowledge! I am cpr/first aid cert, PCA, Medication Aide, Covid Vaccinated and boosted, I also have a negative tb as well. I have been working in the health care field for 11 years between memory care, assisted living, in home care, and hospice care.

What makes me a great caregiver is the opportunity to take care of some great people who need help and appreciate good help. I enjoy talking to people and listening to stories that so many elders have. I am very compassionate and do not frazzle easily. I have extensive experience with dementia patients. I recently became a certified Death Doula, specializing in personal care for dying patients. A personal achievement I am most proud of is raising my three children with my husband of 37 years. They (children) have grown to become great adults and that's all a parent can ask for.
