I remembered growing up wanting to be a surgeon. I didn't end up being a surgeon but I knew I have a huge heart to care for people. I'm passionate with what I do. Hello everyone my name is Darlene Billups,i have been a caregiver for over twenty years,i got my CNA license at Kennedy King College back in 1979.iI love helping people and making them happy,I also love to cook learn and talk to my clients so that they can get to know me as well as me knowing them.AM now going to school on line for my bachelor in Criminal Justice so that i can get my license for Mental Health.My most proudest moment was going back to school to further my education in the health field.

Hi, I have a lot of experience with being a caregiver for the elderly. I have worked with hospice clients and also dementia clients. I have even worked with just assisted living clients helping with basic cares. I am very passionate about being a care taker. I am pursuing a degree in nursing. I have always loved knowing that someone's loved one is being taken care of. To me it's nice to be able to provide that break for the family so they can be family and not the caregiver. I love being able to communicate with family and the client. Also, I love the bond that it all comes with. You truly make a one on one bond with the client and it's nice to get to know not only the client but family as well. I foresee myself being in healthcare for a long time as it's my passion.
