My parents were older when I was born, my father was in his 60's and my mother in her 40's. They were very loving and I grew up around elderly people all my life. I really enjoyed taking care of them in their older years. I felt very useful and helpful doing that so I decided to make a career out of this. With a lot of training and hard work and despite the struggle of the language, since Spanish is my first language, I became a CNA. I really enjoy working with the elderly and helping them be as comfortable as possible on their last years on earth. I am very flexible with family needs and preferences. I have been doing this job for 23 years now so I am very experienced and I take pride in being very thorough with my work.
