I lived with my Nana for most of my life who wasn't in that good of health. There for being able to help her, and make sure she was okay has brought me to where I am today. I've been in home health for last 15 yrs. I've done state facilities also working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I was a certified medication aid. I worked with g tubes. I've done pediatric home health. I went to Wyoming to take care of my mother before she passed. I took a CNA class while I was there. Was not able to go in front of nursing board because COVID hit and I was let go from my job cause I was working prn . So they wouldn't pay to let me get my certification. I've been out of work for past two years due to getting my personal life situated and being a stay at home mom which I'm not very good at . So I said I needed a job and started applying. I enjoy this line of work because flexible scheduling. And I enjoy taking care of people. I don't like the fact that I get too attached.. they become like family. And when they pass it's hard on me . But to know I made a difference in someone life. That's the reward.
