First off, I would like to say that I very much have a heart for the elderly. I love engaging with them in conversation, and find myself drawn to caring for them. I sense that they quickly feel comfortable with me. Generally speaking, I am a very patient and compassionate person who can sense what is going on in the heart of another. I very much enjoy the process of getting to know somebody and finding out how I can best help them. As a nurse assistant, I'm very attentive, detail oriented, and enjoy organizing and planning. I have worked with different clients and I have worked at a facility, adult family home, and one on one care. Caregiver is a great job that helps me to meet with different people and see the world in a different way. Being able to help another person is what I always wanted since I was young. Being a caregiver gives me an understanding of what other people go through. I even decided to pursue my education in public health because I wanted to learn different ways to help people. I have been a caregiver for almost 3 years now and I love it.

I have had a lifelong love for taking care of seniors since I was 12 years old. I volunteered at my hometown nursing home. I now have 8 years of professional experience providing care for seniors.

I am a college student at Eastern Washington University, currently pursuing my major in nursing and minored in psychology. I am people oriented and easy to carry conversations with, on the daily. My home town is in Maui, Hawaii, as of right now Spokane, Washington is where I call home.

I'd describe my personality as energetic, helpful, and activity oriented. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, I was a cabin leader at the summer camp I'd grown up going to. In my spare time, I like to use my kayak and bake all sorts of goodies. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a mover, if there's an activity or something to go do then I'd much rather do that then screens.

I am a very personable person I've always worked in retail because I loved the person to person interaction. I've always been able to get along with most people because I could read and pickup on their personality and that helped me better understand them as a person. I got attracted to caregiving because I wanted to give more to those around me. I believe that everyone who need assistance should get the help they deserve because there's so much negativity out there, there needs to be more positivity and kindness. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to provide that comfort that other need and making them feel at ease because they aren't alone. A personal achievement in pound of is going to trade school to become more knowledgeable about how to help others i never likes school not because of the learning though it was more the teachers and other student and how you were ranked as a person by a grade in the grade book so I never thought I'd go back to school after high school until I found my path to caregiving I was actually passionate about it and excited to be going back to school and learning about something I was interested in so it was a proud moment for me ,

I am really hardworking and can work with initiative. Once I get to know the resident I will anticipate their needs. I'll make sure to give them the care that they need. I've always like taking care of older people. I just have a soft spot for them. Being able to care for those who need me most. I've work to a memory care for older people for over 7 months. I didn't know that I could last that long but I did. I really love my work, but this time I just want something different and I think in home care will be a great fit for me because I'm the type of person who loves doing great care for the resident.

I am very compassionate. I treat every person with respect. I feel every person deserves to live the best life for them possible and my passion is to make that happen.

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. In 2009 I had my own adult family home business, where I took care of six residents. Few years after that I decided to go to college part time and study Nursing. Currently I am enrolled in Nursing school. My schedule is very flexible I can work nights, & weekends, & certain day shifts. I take pride in my work and I'm a very compassionate caregiver.
