Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I'm very patient with people. I can see a problem before it's fully developed and am able to stop it before it even happens. I grew up with a little brother who was disabled so I've been taking care of people my whole life and it jus makes me happy taking care of people who are in need.

How I started out as a pca was, wanting to know how do care for my family when the times comes and what training do i need to make sure im ready for it. While being a caregiver to a variety of people ive awlays wanted them and the families to feel as if i was taking care of my loved ones. I am a caring , loving, hardworking, outgoing and honest person. Being a caregiver is not easy but it is manageable and it is also a great way to give back to families in need of help. My mother had a stroke and ever since, I have been taking good care of her. From cooking her favorite meals to making sure she's had her medicine in a timely manner, to cleaning and making sure she's had her exercise for the day. All while I was working as a teacher. Thanks to good time management, I was able to do both! Though I do not have years of experience in a caregiver facility, I am willing and able to assist families and senior citizens. I enjoy meal prepping, doing what I can to make people happy and just being there for people letting them know that if they need anything, I am here. A personal achievement that I am most proud of is giving back to my community through teaching students that education is the key to success, and above all knowing that I did a great job with taking care of my dear mother as she has done for me over all these years.

Greetings! I am retired from the medical field as well as grew up in a medical family. I have experience with caring for others with different comorbidities. I am patient and caring as well as very respectful. In my free time I enjoy playing with my grandkids, geocaching and hiking, and flying. I've lived in Alaska for 31 years and have no plans to ever leave. My husband is retired Air Force so I do have base access as a dependent/spouse. I also have reliable transportation.
