Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I am a warm, caring and compassionate person and have always enjoyed helping people, it comes as Second Nature to me, and I was both my Parent's "Right Hand Girl" as they used to call me. My mom worked for the Visiting Nurses Association when I was a young girl and back then she was allowed to take me with her to some of her clients, so that's one reason why I developed an interest in this type of work.

I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute.
