CG for about 10 years. I help them with daily living like bathing, feeding, bathroom, assistance, light housekeeping, and meal prep, transportation, companionship.

I have ben a caregiver for 30 years i love it im a cna and its one of best the best things i have ever decided to do.

I work with people daily who are struggling w mobility, safety awareness, and their independce with ADL tasks. I am involved in up to 12 peoples daily care and enjoy helping others .

I am 27 years old. I have been in the health care field since I was 18. I have a significant amount of patient care experience, not only in the hospital setting but in home health care as well. I am very passionate about what I do, and I strive tremendously on helping other people. I am very dependable, trustworthy, and reliable with an incredible worth ethic. I always go above and beyond when making sure each patient gets the care they need and deserve.

I am a sociable person with a natural capability of providing continuous care . Empathy is embedded in my personality, I am a good listener. Moreover, I have a track record of giving elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment. The primary task of caregiving is providing companionship. Also, a caregiver assists with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, toileting assistant, feeding and changing, housekeeping, and laundry.

It all Started when I was very young, I was 5 and Started To realize my mom's balance wasnt like the other kids mom's. It was just my mom and I, so I instinctively helped her as much as a 5 year old could. As I got older she got worse, and I could help more. That's exactly what I did. She ended up being misdiagnosed with polyneuropathy in the mid 90s. She got worse over the years, and eventually could not walk at all. In 2008-09 we found out she had a tumor growing all throughout her spinal cord. which was in fact the cause of why she was losing and eventually lost the ability to walk at all. She can't feel her legs and feet, or anything below the belly button. She ended up getting bed sores, so I change her wound dressings daily, and a nurse comes one day a week. She takes pictures of her progress. I have experienced with the wound vac, and right now we just use silver nitrate and barrier cream, and flip her on her sides for two hours. This is the second time she's had these sores so they won't ever heal fully. I used to get paid by seiu (doors) to be her caregiver but they cut her off for her assets. So I still take care of her and do everything the same 7 days a week any way. I am fully qualified, I run arrends, prepare meals, clean, so laundry, bathe her and just tend to her needs.

Im great caregiver because I'm someone that can be counted on to be there and show Empathy and compassion and also very trustworthy and honest

What attracted me is that I enjoy taking care of residents, knowing I cam help put a smile on their face & make sure they are happy & comfortable! What I most enjoy is all the stories they tell me! I am a greaf caregiver because I always make sure things are done how they are wanted per residents & also make sure they are happy & relaxed! I am a mother myself & very proud of it! I would like to move up in the medical field to tend to my family!
