I am a very down to earth, kind hearted person. I have always loved taking care of people, whether it be babies/kids or the elderly. I love being able to help people and it is very rewarding being a caregiver. Giving them companionship is so rewarding, especially if they don't have family/friends nearby.

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I have experience in both a facility with helping with everyday ADLs for various ages from young children to hospice care. I also assisted with med pass and insulin injections. My passion for healthcare began about the age of five. For many years my dream career was to become a doctor. As I aged and researched into a career as a doctor, I realized that medical school was far too expensive for my financial situation. I have grown up around nursing homes and group homes. My mother was CNA when I was young and I always loved spending my days there. I enjoy working directly with individuals to make their day easier and better. I like being able to connect with residents and being able to enjoy spending time together. I'm very proud of completing school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Although my license has lapsed, I would love to go back and re-ceritify.
