Hi, I'm Adrian and I have been a caregiver since I was a little girl assisting my great aunt as she worked a home health aide case, not knowing that I would grow up to enjoy the field. I have 12 years of experience with 10 years a certified CNA. I often enjoy caring for my clients as if they were my own family members and soon enough I will get the recognition as their family member. I enjoy listening to the many stories and the wisdom I gain by working with different clients. I will encourage independency; however, I know in some cases there are total dependent clients. My absolute weakness is seeing or hearing of someone that was once so full of life, very active to declining although I know that's a part of life.

Why I started being a caregiver because I always loved to help out people in need and seeing the smile on their faces and their loved one because they know their loved one is in good hands and is getting that love and support they need . I try my best to make sure my patients are 100% happy and healthy. What attracted me to caregiving was that my grandmother was diagnosed with copd and I took care of her. I was really disgusted at the way her home health nurse treated her, and from that I decided that I would become a CNA. I don't want anyone being neglected or abused like my grandmother was. I took care of my uncle up until his passing in Oct.2010, he was a Stroke Patient and later diagnosed with cancer, I moved in with him and did what any family member or child would do for a parent or relative, with help of my brother, we did what my mother wanted. I'm just Blessed to be able to have the gift that God has planted in me and do what he intended for me.
