I am a great caregiver because I take pride in my work. I treat my clients as if they are my own when providing care and treatment. I chose to become a caregiver because I have a passion and desire to help and give back to others. Some of my personality traits that make me a great worker are having a lot of patience, knowing how to be kind and gentle, and knowing how to enpathize with my clients throughout their disease process. When providing care, I don't look at it as job. I actually enjoy my field of work and aim to better the quality of life. I am a mother of three daughters . I have always been taking care of someone. When I was a teen I babysat and in my late teens I took care of my grandmother who was dying of cancer. I have done fill in work for my aunt who use to work as an in home aid caregiver. I have worked for two years in a chiropractic office working with older people. I enjoy being with people and learning from them and being able to help them to live their lives to the best of their abilities. That is what I love about care giving. It is not just a job but a way of connecting to other people and being able to help them and do it for a living. I am proud of being able to raise my daughters because I have been a single parent for the majority of their lives. I obtained my Associates degree while raising them and I am twenty four hours away from receiving my Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling and Caregiving and my daughters are my reason for continuing to get better as a person.

I would say my personality traits are I'm open, trustworthy, funny, and helpful. What attracted me to be a caregiver is the help I can give and do give. Thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy I bring to helping them. My personal achievement that I am proud of Is who I've become.

I enjoy working with and helping people. I am currently a CNA and MED TECH. I am certified to help with medication management. I been a CNA for over 10 years and a Med Tech for 5 years. I am registered in North carolina and Virginia. I enjoy the bonding and getting to know my clients and their families and helping them with their needs.
