Let me start by telling you how I got into health care. My mother Died in 2017 and it made me want to be a CNA so I could help take care of other peoples parents and grand parents being I'll never get the oppurtunity to take care of my mother in her elderly years. Im a mother to 4 wonderful children who i spend all my time with when im not working to improve our lives. I enjoy being around the elderly and taking care of them. I love listening to their stories of how they grew up and learning from their past experinces. I think the achievement im most proud of is pushing myself to go to school to be a CNA. I look forward to going back and getting my CNA 2 and medication certificate.

LTo tell you a little bit about myself, I am 30 yrs old, graduated in the Philippines with Bachelor in Science in Nursing also an RN there then migrated here in US last Oct. 2009 as a permanent resident.I am currently working for a diabetic client (I do give her insulin shots) in Beverly Hills and would love to find a job closer to where I live (Camarillo) as I am now a new mom to an almost 6 month old precious baby girl. Before this job, I did hospice care assignment in Oxnard, my client died from liver cirrhosis. I also have worked for a client Westlake Village who died in Brain Cancer. I have also worked for 2 clients in Camarillo. In Virginia, I have worked in 2 different assisted living facilities in memory care units which specializes in Alzheimer's/dementia clients. I have also worked in private home care for clients with Alzhiemer's, bed bound, with mobility problems, stroke,diabetes etc. Aside from patient care, I been administering meds to clients. I am a board certified medication aide there, since in Virginia, it is required to be certified before staff could administer meds. Before, I left Virginia, I worked for the City of Virginia Beach on their intermediate care facility for clients with intellectual disabilities, I did patient care and administration of meds, documentation as well as going on their outings. I have experienced giving meds orally, through G-tubes, as well as G-tube feeding and even insulin administration. Also, experienced in getting vital signs and blood sugar level. Hi, my name is Lynette. I'm a very nurturing and passionate caregiver of 14 years. PCA certified since 2005, Medication Technician certification since 2015, and CPR/ First Aid certified. I became interested in the healthcare field during my teenage years assisting my aunt with her patients. My most enjoyable moments of caregiving is being able to assist with daily living by giving the client as much independence as possible. Watching the excitement on their faces as they accomplish different tasks is so liberating. Most greatest achievement I'm proud of would be my capabilities and willingness to help service people with healthcare needs.

I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. I love the elderly because for me they are the most interesting people to be with, no boring time being with the old community. They always have an interesting story to tell, sick or well they are still interesting, For me, I treat them as my own, some of them are worrier, some of them are lonely, some of them are happy go lucky but most of them just need our kindness and compassion. I am a good cook, i work in an organized and systematic manner with the application of proper technique and dedication. i see to it that the client will be properly taken care of. Most of all I give them my tender love and care , see to it that i treat them with respect and dignity.

I enjoying helping or assisting others that cannot really help themselves.I am a licensed CNA and enjoy being able to put a smile on my clients face. My personal achievement that i am proud of is the level of care that i can provide for my clients that keeps them wanting me as their caregiver. I am very caring and compassionate person and take pride in the work that i share with each person that i may provide care for.

I am a wife, mother of 4, and registered nurse. I substitute nurse in an area private school. My belief is that I would make a terrific senior care giver as I have a dear love of elderly people . I would be most interested in daytime care that might include walking, driving to appts, shopping with or for and meal preparation as well . Pets are no problem. Limited to daytime and early eve on a part time basis.

I enjoy taking care of a loved one because I love helping people. I take on the responsibility and stay with it because I realize I am making a difference in someone/loved one's life. I am patient working with older client's. I'm compassionate because every persons situation is different and some conditions can be more severe. I am flexible to accommodate each person schedule.
