I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. At the age of 8 I started being my mom's assistant caring for people and my first patient was my grandmother I cared for her for many years as she became more sick my responsibility grew I was responsible for bathing, cleaning, laundry, hygiene and more but the part I loved the most was the good talks that we had I was able to make her feel alright and happy and not alone until the day she passed. I would love to continue to do those things for people around the world if I am given the opportunity it makes me so happy and makes me feel like a good person. I have spent time with so many wonderful people,and I've learned that even in the midst of illness ,or altered state of mind there is always a desire to feel wanted, loved and listened to. I am thankful, and honored to have played a part in so many lives, and look forward to fulfilling the lives of those to come.

Growing up I would visit my great-uncle and aunt in the nursing home with my grandmother and help her with tasks for them that they could not do. These are precious memories for me. Prior to my management career in retail, I worked in daycares with all ages. Both of these fields have came with experiences that have taught me paitence, attentiveness and professionalism.
