I have been a CNA for over 30+ years. I love working with the elderly. I love to hear their life stories and seeing them smile as they reminisce of the days of old. A personal achievement I am proud of , I'm a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 17.

what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I put my whole heart and soul into what I do. I treat my patients like family, not like a job. I first started caregiving at the age of 16. My mother was a caregiver and I helped her. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because if I can give my best for them and care is always from my heart. All of my jobs have been with my clients to end of life care with Hospice involved. Knowing that someone is with them through it all . I believe my best care is with dementia and Alzheimer's I have a big interest in this and love working and taking care of them.

I am 34 years old I have 10 years of experience of taking care of elderly people. I worked at the same nursing home for 10 years I work at a nursing home for 10 years the same nursing home. Have a lot of experience with long-term care Short Term Care. I've also worked in physical therapy. I really enjoy taking care of people I took care of my grandmother with dementia all the way until the day she passed away. As have experience in hospice care. I really enjoyed taking care of people. I take pride in my work in the care that I give I'm very compassionate and loving and I'm always about their needs and there family needs.

I am energetic, have a huge heart. I'm always trying to find ways to help other people no matter the situation. I love hearing back stories on clients that's I have cared for, they always tell them perfectly! When my grandmother got sick in 2013 with stage 4 lung cancer I quit my job and took care of her until she went on hospice in her home, in 2014. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life and that was to be a nurse one day! My biggest achievement is when I went to LPN school, although I withdrew in February of 2019 the knowledge and experience I gained is not forgotten. I was going into my second clinical rotation when I caught the flu and missed 23 clock hours! I had an hour left until next semester which was 3 months away! I had no choice to withdraw, but I will become a nurse, it's my passion!

Im going to school for my LPN I love my job helping people and I have worked as an care aide at home for my dad who had a stroke . I'm very experienced with people who have dementia and enjoy taking care of them .
