Hello there, I'm Bridget and I have been a PCA since 2013. I have experience working with those who have Alzheimer's, Dementia and TBI's. I started out in this field just looking for a change in my career. I never thought I would get as much joy and satisfaction as I do helping those who can not help themselves. The best part of being in this field has got to be the bond and trust that grows not only between the client and myself, but the family as well. Getting to see your client make progress in things you've watched them struggle with. Or the smile that comes across their face when they're telling you stories of things they've experienced.

I am 34 years old I have 10 years of experience of taking care of elderly people. I worked at the same nursing home for 10 years I work at a nursing home for 10 years the same nursing home. Have a lot of experience with long-term care Short Term Care. I've also worked in physical therapy. I really enjoy taking care of people I took care of my grandmother with dementia all the way until the day she passed away. As have experience in hospice care. I really enjoyed taking care of people. I take pride in my work in the care that I give I'm very compassionate and loving and I'm always about their needs and there family needs.

I am energetic, have a huge heart. I'm always trying to find ways to help other people no matter the situation. I love hearing back stories on clients that's I have cared for, they always tell them perfectly! When my grandmother got sick in 2013 with stage 4 lung cancer I quit my job and took care of her until she went on hospice in her home, in 2014. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life and that was to be a nurse one day! My biggest achievement is when I went to LPN school, although I withdrew in February of 2019 the knowledge and experience I gained is not forgotten. I was going into my second clinical rotation when I caught the flu and missed 23 clock hours! I had an hour left until next semester which was 3 months away! I had no choice to withdraw, but I will become a nurse, it's my passion!

Im going to school for my LPN I love my job helping people and I have worked as an care aide at home for my dad who had a stroke . I'm very experienced with people who have dementia and enjoy taking care of them .
