I have great expertise I am certified in CPR as well as First Aid and genuinely have great Communication skills. What attracted me to be a caregiver is my respect for the elderly they have lived through some amazing life experiences and lessons and I believe it's highly important that they receive the care and respect we would want our grandparents and or parents to be treated with. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is building a great and healthy relationship as well as trust by learning and listening to there life stories and lessons. I am a mother of 3 young boys. I have completed a phlebotomy certificate program. I have completed a CNA course and worked in a nursing home facility after completion of the course for about 3 years. I have also worked at a state home in Camden NY until recently when I had a new baby. I am now a stay at home mother looking to get back into the working field.

I have always wanted to be a caregiver as far as I can remember. Even though I have had many careers nothing has been more rewarding! I have done 15 years of caregiving as a PCA , CNA and HHA in hospitals, nursing homes and private duty including family and friends and specialized in dementia and cancer. I have never felt more rewarded after a days work than making someone else's life a little more enjoyable happier or easier to live. I truly enjoy helping others in their everyday needs!

My name is Destini, I have been a home health aide/attendant for 5 years. I'm certified by new york department of health. I've been working with patients since I was 15. I went to a medical high school ; Clara Barton and through there I started to volunteer and work at nursing homes and private cases because I love helping people. I believe my best qualities as a home health aide are, I treat my patients and their families the same way that I would want another caregiver to treat my family if they needed assistance. I am compassionate and I empathize with the people I assist. I have kind heart and I'm efficient in the tasks I have to do with my patient. I have a lot of energy and pay close attention to my patient. I do grocery shopping can cook meals and make a meal plan specifically for their nutritional needs based on their health. I do housekeeping, scheduling appointments for activities, program and doctors. The most rewarding experience I had in this field is just hearing a patient say thank you.
