What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

I'm 37, happily married and a mother of two beautiful boys. I love dogs, love my family, love to help others. I love working independently because I love the one on one care and companionship. I'm extremely kind, caring and compassionate. I'm very reliable and trustworthy. I have great references and an up to date resume. Most of my experience is with dementia, Parkinson's and MS. Hello, My Name is Bianca Shropshire. Currently I am a student at Lorain County Community College for Minoring in Business and majoring in Computer Networking. My expected date of graduation is May of 2020. I began working in healthcare in 2005. I worked for The Methodist village in Elyria Ohio in Dietary But decided to make a career change to obtain my State Tested Nursing Assisting Licenses once I turned 18. After obtaining my Licenses I obtain a position on the Neurology floor as a clinical technician in which I performed slightly a little more care than what your STNA Licensed which consist of placing and removal of Foley Catheters, removing IV catheters, and Testing blood sugars as ordered by the physician. What our floor specialized in was post recovery for surgeries within the neurological spec, stroke, seizures, dementia, Alzheimer, neurological disorders, meningitis, and some Gastrointestinal care IE ileostomy, or colostomy bags. Being a caregiver is what I have always been best at. I love to be able to help others with just the basic needs in life that sometime we take for granite in being able to do on our own. One of my biggest achievements in life was becoming a mother and raising my children to be kind unto others and help where needed and that comes with rewards in life that money cannot buy.

Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . I have been working in healthcare since I was in high school. I love caring for and assisting people. I fill my free time with volunteer work, coaching cheerleading and gymnastics, being the room parent at my daughter's school, and activities at the American Legion. I find great passion in being a caregiver because it allows me to help others when they are in need. I earned my certification through a nationally recognized vocational school in which I took two years of academics at. What I enjoy most about being a care-giver is the ability to make a difference in someone's life for a positive impact.
