I have known since I was a child that becoming a caregiver was important to me, as I got older I knew it was a part of me! To be able to help just one person maintain quality of living or exceed they're expectations of they're quality of life is both what Ive strived for and put my heart into from the beginning of my career . My mother and father both were CNA's and worked in nursing facilities until they retired, 3 of my aunts and 2 of my uncles also were caregivers, Caregiving has always been my passion. I have been in the healthcare system for 20+ years working as a CNA & Personal home health Aid. I started as a CNA working in nursing/facility)when I was 16 years old. Then I started working in their homes one on one, I'm very passionate about being a caregiver it is an important part of who I am as an individual! I feel every person has their own individual needs, I have enjoyed working with each and in their own homes to meet their own personal needs. I've enjoyed this so well that I've not went back to working in a facility based environment since, being a caregiver is a part of me and who I am.

I sat out years ago to be a buisness professional and years later found my calling in Healthcare. My job is not just a job to me, it is my passion of caring for others. I began caring for my grandmother whom had broke both of her legs when I was 12 yrs old. I have always had a huge heart for older people and the privilege of caring for them now as a career is a true blessing. I love to hear stories of their past and learning them individually. Caregiving to me, is like being blessed with many extra family's!

I have done this before. I found it very fulfilling and made me very happy, to help those who needed my help. Felt great to meet new people an see their stories. I help take care of my father on my off time he has early onset dementia. And has survived 4 strokes. I am happily married with 5 children.

I spent 21 years in the mortgage industry and when my company closed I followed my passion for helping people organize and clean their homes.

I am caring, sweet, but quiet. I became a cna because I love to take care of people. I love to help. I enjoy companionship and care for someone in need. I love people.

I originally had set out to have a career in business and went to college for business ...I started to notice I was happy taking care of others making sure they are ok and have everything they need seeing a smile from someone makes it worth it at the end of the day. My mother had MS and I took on the role as a caregiver for her and am good at it. I love this occupation and hope to further my skills in the future

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping those who are in need of help to meet their daily needs.What I like about being a caregiver is known that I am there not only to help with their daily needs but to also listen to them when all they need is someone to talk to. A little about myself. I grew up in Northern NY and now have moved to the Harriman TN area. Although a lot of people don't like change I really enjoy it. I really enjoy learning new things. I have worked in healthcare on and off for over 20 years. I had a few other jobs in the past outside of working in healthcare but I enjoy working with people who are in need. I like hands on training the most when it comes to jobs. I feel that its the best experience that I have had in the past when it comes to being out in the work place.
