I have 18+ years experience as a LNA/ CNA/MA/Housekeeper. I am CPR/BLS and First Aid certified. I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Homecare and Hospice. A majority of my clients have been diagnosed with Dementia. I have alot of extended learning learning hours with Alzheimer's. I absolutely love working with seniors. I can't imagine doing anything else in this life. I have been out on my own for, five years now, I love the one on one contact of homecare. Integrity is the word I use to describe myself. I always do the right thing, even when no one is looking. Because I am honest and dependable, the work continues to flow. I usually work within the same family for a very long time. I can administer medications and insulin, take vitals, personal care, housekeeping, transportation, cooking, pet care, hospice, really anything you need I can help. I'd describe my personality as caring, empathetic, sympathetic & helpful I started caring for seniors/disabled individuals about 6 years ago One thing you should know about me is that I pride myself on my integrity. My skills include medication management & reminders; plan, prep & prepare meals & snacks; personal care (helping patient in & out of the shower, assisting in getting dressed for the day, etc.); household chores (such as laundry, tidying & cleaning up, feeding animals, walking dogs, cleaning litter box, watering plants, etc): scheduling, calendaring & accompanying patients to appointments as needed, transportation to appointments, run errands, etc.

I became a care giver because I have always worked in the medical field except in an office and I wanted to work directly with patients. I like to interact with the patient.My achievement is I have always enjoyed working with patients. I have worked in Doctors offices for the past 19 yrs. I have worked as a benefits verification and referral coordinator. And I have worked as a front desk medical administration assistant.

Prior to being a professional caregiver, I took care of my grandmother before she passed and I seen that my passion is to take care of people and love. That's my calling. I love all my clients, residents and individual who is needing assistance. My favorite part of caregiving and the most rewarding is the friendship between you and that individual. I wouldn't trade my job for the world!

I am a very passionate person, I love being a part of helping families with their loved ones.I am a patient and kind caregiver,I have learned a lot of patience from the people that I have cared for.I decided I wanted to go into nursing at 12 years old when my mother was helping care for an elderly friend. i am a very loving and caring person . everytime i am doing something for someone i do it the same way i would like it done for myself . i am dedicated to my job and would probably live there if i could . i am a very sympathetic person also emotional so i always have a strong connection with my patients . what i enjoy most about my job is everyone i have ever worked with has requested me back and that has told me i am doing something right . personal achievements i would be proud of would be being with someone as they took their last breath . i got to know such an amazing person . i have been put under pressure in so much different situations from deaths , seizures , fainting , hem-ridging , and falling . the list goes on . everyday at my job i learn something new and am more prepared for the next time .
