I have ben a caregiver for 30 years i love it im a cna and its one of best the best things i have ever decided to do.

Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.

I work with people daily who are struggling w mobility, safety awareness, and their independce with ADL tasks. I am involved in up to 12 peoples daily care and enjoy helping others .

I am a sociable person with a natural capability of providing continuous care . Empathy is embedded in my personality, I am a good listener. Moreover, I have a track record of giving elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment. The primary task of caregiving is providing companionship. Also, a caregiver assists with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, toileting assistant, feeding and changing, housekeeping, and laundry.

I have a lot of patience & I always at the end of the day made a big differce in there life...

What attracted me is that I enjoy taking care of residents, knowing I cam help put a smile on their face & make sure they are happy & comfortable! What I most enjoy is all the stories they tell me! I am a greaf caregiver because I always make sure things are done how they are wanted per residents & also make sure they are happy & relaxed! I am a mother myself & very proud of it! I would like to move up in the medical field to tend to my family!

i do have a resume i can upload to any job needing it, i do have experience with home health care. i really enjoy helping people and loved when i was working as a caregiver. it is an achievement to help someone with their everyday needs.

I became a great caregiver when I cared for my mom for 8yrs. I learned a great deal about personal care, and the doctors and nurses were so amazed at the care I had given her I was motivated to care for other in need. What attracted me to become a caregiver was after caring for my mom, I felt it was a calling. A personal achievement of my mine was caring for my mom and still today the care I give to others.

Being a caregiver is such an honor it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what caregiving is all about. Being a caregiver is more than a paycheck it's what I LOVE DOING [?]

Growing up i always help the elderly helping them housekeeping , grooming ,dressing cooking, getting groceries help them with whatever they needed i. Enjoy my work love meeting people & Families also keep them up with there medication god bless us all have a nice day Ms Cooke
