I think I am a great caregiver because I pay strict attention to the needs and wants of my clients. I became a caregiver, after I retired, because I love people and have a passion to help. What I like most about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to be of assistance in any way that I can for people. I have a very loving, caring heart and out of the many clients that I've had, I can honestly say, I've loved them and they have loved me as well. I became a registered nurse years ago because there was nothing more important to me than caring for people. I have worked as a home health nurse most of my career and so I have lots of experience that can be utilized but the real joy I received was when I was talking, visiting and caring for my patients. I often wished I could stay all day and so if the request is for dressing, bathing, companionship and other needs without a technical skill that is also perfect because my heart has always been with people not my degree.

Most of my career has been as a caregiver. There was a brief time that I worked in accounting completing my degree in 2015. It seems that I am doing what I enjoy the most helping others.
