I became a caregiver because I was able to take care of my sick mother home for 4 years until it turned into Hospice care at my home. I am trustworthy with training, education, and guidance with caring for families , so they will receive emotional support and are comfortable in their environment. While working at a assisted living facility I performed CPR on an elderly woman who was choking during dinner. Afterwards she told me how thankful she was and her family wrote a letter stating how grateful they were. The company also expressed their gratitude for what I'd done. I am an understanding, kind, and fair person who does not mind helping people from different cultures and back rounds .That's just how I was raised.

I've been a CNA for almost 26 yrs. I'm hard working, compassionate and strive to make sure the care for my patients is given. I'm one of few that can say I love the work I do. I love being able to help those in need of help. I can't explain what draws me to love this work but its very rewarding.
