I am a very patient and attentive person. The most rewarding and precious thing we all have is our time and devotion. My goal as a caregiver is to empower as well as, revive a sense of personal independence. Building self esteem and administering a heavy dose of reassurance, are my strong points. I am a Medical Assistant, I have been a Cosmetologist for over twenty years, so I have a great bedside manner. I am a Christian. As a caregiver, I empower the weak to feel strong and allow them to have as much choice in their own lives as possible.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. I've worked with many challenging residents and clients in homes, out of homes, nursings facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I'm willing and ready to take on whatever needs my attention. I can do ROM, participate in Dr appointments, etc. When and if hired, I will provide documentation.

I became a professional caregiver after taking care of my mom for 10 years before she passed away and have been in the non medical home health industry for over 15 years. I have experience with hospice patients, colostomy patients, Alzheimer's and dementia, stroke patients, bed bound patients, those with feeding tubes and catheters, Parkinson's disease to name a few. One family even told me that had I not been their loved one's caregiver he would not have lived to see his birthday! He was a 90 year old hospice patient! What I like best about being a caregiver is providing companionship to the elderly and giving them something to smile about and want to continue living!
