I am very Compassionate, Loving and Caring person. I became a Caregiver, because of the Passion & Love I have for people, always being there for others, and being blessed to have one of the Greatest Grandmother, I took good care of! I love being able to help others in their time of need, and doing whatever it takes to see them smile. Personal achievement: Being a Donor of both Blood & Marrow to help save LIVES!
I have been working in the healthcare field for 15yrs, and have work and all kinds of settings with many different clients and different stages of health. I became a caregiver because I like providing companionship and getting to know people. I like seeing positive results from my clients and their family. I am proud receiving my certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient cCare Technician from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, currently continue my education to become a Medical Assistant.
My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver is that I'm friendly and have a bubbly personality. What attracted me to being a caregiver was that I love helping people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I get to meet different people and talk to them and listen to some of the stories that they have to tell about their life. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is going to school and becoming a CPT
Hi! My name is Shawnte, and I am a big sister to younger siblings, and I absolutely love children. With my mother being a single mother, I took the role of being a provider for my brothers and I many years ago. That experience alone has taught me so much about myself and how to handle children in a patient and caring way. Did I mention I'm a trained professional? Yes, I am the best of the best. I run my own traveling child care services called, Quality time with Aquilla, as well as I am certified in CPR, and First Aid. If you need a trust worthy, honest, and loving professional to care for your little angle, please call Quality time with Aquilla!
I have an experience of 22 years. I am a good caregiver because I treat my patients like if they were my parents. I cared for my mother for 7 years, she ha Alzheimer's disease, bladder cancer and diabetes. After she was gone I decided to become a CNA to care for other people and give them all my help. I have lots of patience, a realistic outlook, soothing nature and reliability, I am emphatic and have compassion. I want my patients to be happy in their homes, hospital or wherever they are living and care for them like they want to be cared for.
I became a caregiver around 1996 or 1997, I was very young, but I had to work with my grandmother. She was a very bad diabetic and had to get her legs amputated. It was a very big task for someone as young as I was but I wouldn't have changed any of it for the world. That is when I realized this was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I enjoy helping the ones in need. I have not only worked with the elderly, I have worked with all including babies. My achievement that I am proud of are graduating from college at the age of 30, learning that it is never to late to go back, another achievement that I made was moving to Arlington not knowing many people but doing what is best for me and my daughter. I am a 33 year old single mom. I don't drink neither do I smoke. I work hard to make sure that my family and I have what is needed. I have reliable transportation. I am still learning my way around Texas. I enjoy going to church. I love being with my family, they are everything to me.
I know what needs to be done. I have the energy, the capability, and the drive to take action. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Raising a family is always foremost but besides that I guess it would have to be the strength that I have found over the years to overcome life's obstacles.
