I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I love the medical field its so rewarding when u can be there to help meet the medical needs and support of those who really need it. An my desire is to continue to aide those who need an can use my skills. I have upgraded my skills with online continuing education and recently received certification in the care of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people and making a difference in someone's life. What I like most about being a caregiver is that I get to do what I love doing most and it's a very rewarding career. A personal achievement I am proud of is being "Employee of the Month" at my last job at Senior Care @LakePoint it showed that my hard work and being a great caregiver wasn't in vain and that I was appreciated by the difference I made in the facility I was working at the time. I have been a registered C.N.A. for 5yrs, being a caegiver is my calling because of the jobs that I have had in my life this has been the one that I TRULY love doing. I love making a difference in someone's life it's a feeling I can't explain,but the one thing that I know is that this is the field that I am supposed to be working in.

I have an experience of 22 years. I am a good caregiver because I treat my patients like if they were my parents. I cared for my mother for 7 years, she ha Alzheimer's disease, bladder cancer and diabetes. After she was gone I decided to become a CNA to care for other people and give them all my help. I have lots of patience, a realistic outlook, soothing nature and reliability, I am emphatic and have compassion. I want my patients to be happy in their homes, hospital or wherever they are living and care for them like they want to be cared for.
