As so my mom took over and I went to Cali to take on my dream full time .. I have worked with asl patients , Quadriplegic , dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health as well as kids . I started off with independent care and later moving on to facilities as well as obtaining my med tech . Later on had to go back to take care of my grandfather and mom who passed away now I take care of my mom and moved her out to live with me in Temecula . Hi, I first became a caregiver because I wanted to know what it was like helping someone in need. After my first client I realized how much I love being a caregiver. I enjoy everything about my job. I feal very lucky and blessed to have found my calling. I love learning new things especially if they are medical related. I have done case management in a residential home which included scheduling appointments, ordering medications and/or medical equipment, Interview and training new caregivers and weekly meal planning. I have worked with patients with COPD, hoyer lift,MS,Dementia and Alzheimer's and skin cancer treatments. I have also experience in hospice care.
