I care deeply for my patients and their safe keeping is of utmost importance to me. I am friendly and stay engaged with my patients and their families. I enjoy my job as a caregiver and enjoy making my patients happy and comfortable.

I thoroughly love what I do. I enjoy working with my clients, which become like family to me. My clients needs and comfort are my number one priority. I am dependable and responsible. After taking care of my mother and father in law who were both treated for cancer. I saw the emotional and physical toll that it takes. I decided that I wanted to help other families with the support they need to take care of their loved ones when in need.

In 2005 I spent a little under 6 months in a hospital bed and two years in recovery. I know what's it's like to need assistance with daily tasks . The care I received from one of the many nurses is the reason I do this work. There's nothing I enjoy more then being of service to others. I have 5 years of experience.

i became a caregiver because at a young age my grandfather passed away from cancer seeing the nurses and caregivers come and go helping him out made me want to return the same favor. i enjoy care giving because i get to hear stories from the past and i get to have a bond with the client and family as well but i have to keep professional. i also worked for schools as a teachers assistant working with students with disabilities so it encouraged me to look into care giving , and knowing that im giving back and helping the family out. my personal achievement im proud of is that i dont give up with what ever obstetrical comes my way and i keep moving forward. i enjoy being with my family and loved ones spending quality time together and just having fun. i enjoy cutting hair mens hair and im looking to get into barber school some time soon.

I feel like I am a great caregiver because I have such a big heart. I want to make people smile and laugh even when they aren't feeling the best or up to it. What attracted me to being a caregiver was knowing that I could be someone that counted on. Being a caregiver is not the easiest job in the world. You come across mini different scenarios that you may or may not know how to react to. You have to tell yourself you have to do what's best for the resident. You have to be somebody that is able to give them support through it all. Being a caregiver also has great benefits to knowing that you can go home and think I made that person's day. Or even such as I was the last person they talked to before they said goodbye. I was the last person that they wanted holding their hand as they passed. Bing caregiver is more than just a nurse. Being a caregiver is a completely different lifestyle.

What attracted me to being care is being a veteran myself wanting to help other veterans or family members in need. I would like to give back to the community and the only way I know how is to care for those who no longer can care for themselves. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the interactions with clients and hearing their stories. I am proud to be a caregiver and learned so much with associating with medical professionals who work for the Veteran Affair Hosptial. I am proud to say my husband and I created a caregiving binder based on an acronym we created "F.A.C.E.S" standing for family activities caregivers environment and safety. Also, I love animals, if your family member as an animal they love and need caring. I will care for them too.
