Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! I first became interested in caregiving ten years ago when my grandmother came to live with me after a stroke. I cared for her until she passed after which my grandfather developed cancer from which he ultimately passed. I learned from the experience so much and through it formed a lifelong commitment to caring for others through their life challenges.

My Name is Pearlie, I have always had the caretaker trait since I was around 10 years old. I was the grandkid that wanted to stay in the house and help my grandmother take care of my granddad and the person that want a babysitting job in the summer to help out the family. It make me feel good to do for others when the can't or have no one to help them complete their daily living duties. I'm a medical assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant and would like to get back into the CNA side to have more hands on taking care of people again that is my passion.

I have been a nurse for almost 20 years. I became a nurse because I enjoy helping others. I have always had a special place in my heart for the elderly and throughout the years I've always seemed to gravitate in that direction. I've worked in skilled care doing IV therapy, wound care, and g tube feedings along with many other skilled duties to include administration of chemotherapy and IV pain medication. I also have a special place in my heart for disabled children and adults. I have an adult son with Angelman syndrome who now resides in a group home setting. I'm now wanting to branch out on my own. I want to give care to individuals on a 1 on 1 basis. I've also had experience doing palliative care as I once worked as a palliative care nurse.

I took care of my great grandmother 20 years ago. I meet new people and learn new things that would even benefit me. i took a very difficult case and they were a high risk for bed sores and have managed to not have a bottom break down and carried them through life with respect and dignity. i am very patient. have been in the field a long time. I've seen and learned alot of things. I am proud to say that I enjoy working with the elderly.

I am a great caregiver who puts her patients and their families first. The stress that people deal with when their loved ones are in need is massive and i am here to make things a little easier. My goal is to make everyone feel safe and trust that they are in good hands with me. I love helping people and being the light in peoples life, which is why I wanted to become a care taker. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I am very Maticulous w everything.. Longevity, dependable, reliable, outgoing and a over achevier. Giving my heart to those who need it most ..putting a smile on the face of a patient and giving the family the stress less part of not having to take care of there family but enjoy what time is left w them.My most rewarding goal would be meeting lots of diff people from diff backgrounds and hearing all there stories good and bad !!
