Two years later my Father passed away and I lost my job and began caring for my Mother. At that point I decided to go to school and become certified. Received my CNA in 2013. Have been working since then and love what I'm doing. I am caring, dependable, fun, positive and energetic. I am a team player and can also take the lead. I love to cook, bake and juice. I have been trained to straight cath and pass meds. I love caring for others, putting smiles on their face and listening to their stories brings warmth to my heart.

My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I'm looking now because one of my clients I had been caring for since 2015, unfortunately she passed away early November. I enjoy my work and I work very hard! Thank you so much, Cindy
