I've always and will always treat my patient how I would want to be treated!! I have learned so much from experiencing different sickness whatever makes then comfortable and safe!!!

Hello , my name is kendra I been a caregiver for over 6 years now and I love it . I love the people I have met and got a chance to take care and help out over the years . Why I started being a caregiver because I always loved to help out people in need and seeing the smile on their faces and their loved one because they know their loved one is in good hands and is getting that love and support they need . I'm a very outgoing person and love to see everyone around me happy , I don't like to sit in one spot I always move around because it's always work to be done . One of my personal achievements is motivating that client to do something they think they cannot do because they either think their too old or just because they have a disability. My motto is to never give up just keep going and you'll be surprised what all you can do that you thought you wouldn't be able to do .

Little about me, I am a hard worker. I enjoy helping other people who can't afford to do everything themselves. I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I am a honest person, and enjoy making others feel comfortable. I am very determined and motivated in doing things that needs to be done. I enjoy making people happy no matter what state a mind a person is in. I am very caring and will do anything to make anyone feel loved. I am very respectful and open hearted. I believe the best caregivers become like family! I have a passion for caring for our elderly. Right out of High School I obtained by CNA license and immediately started working in geriatric care. I love being able to make a difference in the lives of the ones who shaped our world in so many ways. My favorite thing about this work is being able to learn from my clients. There is never a home I leave without taking some bit of new inspiration with me. I have worked with several different people and fully understand that everyone is different and they all have their specific ways of being cared for the best! My ability to learn, adjust quickly, and most importantly my compassion, allows me to be able to perform adequate care.

I try my best to make sure my patients are 100% happy and healthy. What attracted me to caregiving was that my grandmother was diagnosed with copd and I took care of her. I was really disgusted at the way her home health nurse treated her, and from that I decided that I would become a CNA. I don't want anyone being neglected or abused like my grandmother was. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing my patients smile. A personal achievement of mine that I am proud of was getting my CNA license.

Working in the healthcare field is one of the best decisions that I could have made. I have been licensed now for 13 years and i have worked consecutively through the previous years until now. My hourly wage can vary depending on the needs of the client.I really enjoy working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, i learned how my natural personality can be used in my career field. I've always been a warm spirit person and I love interacting with people. I've always been a genuinely friendly person that enjoys conversing with others and helping others. So, I went into this field without a second thought and without contemplation from day one. At first, I just wanted a career until I realized that it was so many wonderful things that i would later experience and encounter along the way and that's when it became not only a profession but a passion. I've been in the same positions that some of my patients and residents are in which make you more understanding and compassionate when you're helping others. Over the years i learned that what i enjoy most is making others happy and comfortable no matter what the circumstances are i just learned to find the good in things and help others to see it also, even when they're in a position that they may feel that's hard to do. There has never been any type of patients or residents that i could not provide for as long as the proper healthcare essentials are available for whatever their situations might be. One of my personal achievements is that I never gave up and i grew better and learned a lot of things within my field and made memories that I honestly will cherish forever within my heart . I will end by saying that i gained a lot of wisdom and patience from my clients that i will carry for the rest of my life and will be useful within my life out in the working world. Dedicating myself for a better cause made good at what i do and i'm so grateful.
