I have work in the hospital for the past 17years, I also work in home health care . I am a certified nurse aide. I also work in rehab for 6 years I became a caregiver because I love to help people. It is my calling. Caring for other give me joy to know that I was there , when someone needed me. I am now working on my register nurse degree, hope in the next year I will have my achievement. I am very a reliable person, honest, and give my best in every thing I do. I love to cook, read and spend time with my family. I am also a dog lover.

15 years ago I was in desperate need of a caregiver for my mother. It was very difficult to find an honest, caring, trustworthy person to care for her. I went through several different caregivers, including a family friend that didn't work out for the job. I ended up quitting my job and caring for her till she died 9 years later. At this point in my life I want to be able to help someone that needs special care because I know the negative impact it can take on the entire family when the care of a loved one is not being met. I think the sick and elderly are at our mercy to care for them.

I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. My personality traits I would have to say that I enjoy making people laugh. I'm just a big goof ball. I'm energetic, I have a gentle touch and a warm heart. Hi.I has been working as a housekeeper for a long time, so keeping the house tidy for the senior needs will be a plus. In my past senior care giver jobs I drived a lot: appointments, errands, or just to visit a friend or family. I can travel with the client or just help with traveling arrengement. I love to cook and can almost cook anything. Im a very good listener and love a good story about old times. I can manage time efficiently and I'm a very good organizer. I will communicate with the family if there's any concerns occurring in the client daily life. Love to accompany in wals, excersicing, watching movies, or any other entertainment that isn't extreme (like skydiving). I also speak Spanish, and understand Portuguese.I like pets (dogs also if they don't try to bite me) and can walk the pets.
