I've worked in the medical field as a respiratory technician for 15 years, and I've been a certified caregiver for 20 years and found that in home health care is where my passion lies. The majority of my clients are elderly, and to remove them from their surroundings can often cause them too much trauma. Being in their homes with them, and assisting them in day-to-day activities, is always more comfortable and provides a much happier environment. I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2.
