I am an LVN with 20 years of nursing experience. I provide skilled care or more extensive care such as end of life care, wound care or care that may require someone more skilled. MY PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON THE JOB AND SKILL NEEDED FOR THE JOB. I'm IHSS certified for Lake County and will consider working through IHSS. My regular prices range from $30.00 - $45.00 an hour. I've always been a natural caregiver. I love caring for people. I began a career in nursing in 2001 as a CNA. I went to school to become an LPN in 2005 and graduated Valedictorian in 2006. I've enjoyed nursing and was fortunate to be able to gain lots of experience in geriatrics and pediatrics. I've worked in private care, home health care, assisted living, nursing home and clinic. I have also been blessed to have worked with developmentally delayed children and adults. I love to make a difference in the lives of the people I help. I live in Lakeport, CA. I'm looking to take a break from nursing for large groups of patients to a one on one setting. I've always favored in home care and look forward to providing your loved one with the same love and care I would provide my family.

I got into caregiving as a fluke and instantly fell in love with it and the people that I have been able to help and care for. I've always had interest in the medical field and I learned that caregiving is fairly similar to it, I saw that through caregiving I create a personal connection and that's why I chose caregiving. I enjoy the little moments about caregiving, when a person served says something unexpected and it creates a happy memory/moment for us both. A personal achievement I am proud of is taking first place in bodybuilding competitions, it's the prep that I am most proud of, not quitting when it's hard or when I'm tired.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I treat each person I am caring for as if they are my own family member. I give them the care I would want my mother or father to receive. I have been a caregiver for almost 5 years and in the last 6 months have received my CNA certification.

I am 40 yrs of age. I have been a caregiver for over 6 yrs and I really love what I do. I love to help people, I am passionate and hardworking. Who Am I? My name is Garret and I am a health care professional in my early 20's born and raised in northern California. My time living in nor'cal has only been interrupted once to attend Basic combat training in Oklahoma; because of this I have been known to bond well with veterans and seniors of a 'rural' disposition. I consider the morals and values learnt during my service to be the foundation of the man I am today. Who I am. My career in healthcare began post enlistment, I became a certified EMT to expand on the knowledge and training I received in the military. After becoming an EMT and developing my professional skills and experience I branched out to further my medical knowledge. I was sponsored by a local business to attend a school provided by the Red Cross. There I became a certified nursing assistant and graduated with honours in the class. It is my hope to enroll in an LVN program next year to pave the way for more opportunities and experience. My desire is to specialize in wound care.

I have always liked being in the medical field. I like helping people and taking care of them, Care-giving gives me a kind of happiness and pleasure because I get to help people who have no other way to care for themselves. I am a hard-working person, I am honest and I will take care of the person I am assigned like the person is my family member. I can drive, and I have a clear driving record.

I became a full time paid caregiver six years ago. However, back in my home country, caregiving is part of almost every family life. We look after our parents and grandparents till they pass on to the other life. Since becoming a caregiver in California, I began to love the job and began to connect closely with all my clients. I love to listen to clients stories and what they were before they need assistance with daily living. I really love to listen and share these life stories and it feels so satisfying to know that we are taking care of people who had given their services to this great nation. I love keeping my clients happy and sharing stories of their past lives and also sharing mine. I have handled some critical hospice cases and someone who was diagnosed to live for only 6 months. I took care of the person, taking care of his wounds until they clear, and keeping the person alive for over 2 years to the amazement of hospice and the family themself. Caregiving is in our blood. I think of the love and care that our parents shared with us and I feel it a duty that we return this love and care to our seniors and loved ones.
