I've been in the medical field for over 13+ years and I absolutely love it. I started in the medical field right out of High School and I'm currently attending school to receive my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. I want to continue to expand my knowledge and be a great pillar in the Medical Community. I'm extremely skilled with Majority of all Medical Conditions and treat others with respect. I am an outgoing person full of compassion and always willing to listen. Been working as a caregiver since 2005 and love what I do. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing stories of their lives. I am depednable and punctual and willing to go the extra mile.

I have handled many different scenarios and situations so nothing surprises me to much. A personal achievement of mine was when I worked with an individual who was non verbal and he had a lot of behaviors and he could be very mean. I spoke to him and treated him like he was the same as everyone else. I cooked a special dinner for him and made it all homemade from scratch and he watched me make the whole meal. When I served him he looked at me took a bite then reached over and grabbed my arm gently and kissed my arm and he smiled so big. It took about a month to get that acceptance from him. When he finally accepted me it made me tear up. I felt so accomplished because this guy ran off so many Direct support Professionals. I felt as though I could do anything because of the wonderful feeling of gratitude and gratefulness that I received from that individual.

Caring and lots of patience can help me be a great caregiver! Helping people and I have a disabled son that made me want to watch other people it helps me learn with him too and his disability's. I enjoy learning something new with them and getting to know them. I'm proud to watch them grow and help them or just be there for my clients

I have always enjoyed helping other people live their lives to the fullest extent possible. I have compassion for the elderly and disabled and my goal is make their lives easier and more fulfilling for as long as possible. I have a personal commitment to making people as comfortable as they can be when they are ill or experiencing any condition that causes them to require in-home care.

I care for the elderly/disabled in a kind and compassionate manner which allows them to retain their dignity as much as possible. Caring for others is something I always desired doing and I really enjoy getting to know people and making their daily lives better in any way I can. Raising my autistic child into the man he is today has been my greatest achievement and a vast source of personal growth.

I am very forth right, I take pride in giving hope and making tomorrow a brighter day for my clients. No job is to big or overwhelming for me to tackle. I am very protective and very loving. I am fast and efficient in emergency situations, I do not freeze or panic in my clients time of needs. I enjoy taking my clients out for activities and trips( no one can excel staying in a chair all day) Dr appointments, grocery shopping, puzzles, crafts and activities keep the mind sharp and on point. That's what I strive for[?] Whatever is important to my client becomes important to me and I will remember all of those dates and address them accordingly.. No house work is too much for me.. if they have a project they would like to do we will get it done one way or the other.. cooking is not a problem. Also am very familiar with thickened liquids and Pureed meals. Whatever they may need I am at their disposal.

I became a caregiver because I love the work with the elderly. I am outgoing and friendly, a great companion. I am proud that I take good care of the people I am with. I make sure they get good nutrition, don't fall, don't get bed sores; I always do my best to give the best care possible. I have lots of experience, even with hospice work, hoyer lifts, feeding tubes, etc. I also work well with people with demensia.
