I've been in the service for 27 years now. I have a child with disability, and I learned a lot from him in regard to assisting and helping him. That motivates me helping the elderly people. I also like gardening and outdoor recreations.

My name is Joanna and I am originally from California. I have been caregiving for about 6 years now and love it! I am married and have a small dog named vannie. I love being a caregiver because the thought of knowing I can help someone in their time of need makes me happy.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years and enjoy working with people and being part of their lives. I ran a retirement home as an assisted-living director and ran the dining room and started the Alzheimer's unit. I have been working with home health agencies and also at facilities and enjoy doing activities with the residence and seeing people smiling and laughing because most of them do not have families that come and visit them so basically we are their family. I enjoy being a caregiver and being in their homes because then you get to be one on one with them which makes caregiving more personable and it's a blessing that most of them can stay in their homes. Being a caregiver is not a talent or something that you can be trained on it's mostly what's in your heart and knowing that the elderly need good people to take care of them and One day we are going to be in the position where we will need someone to take care of us so knowing that there are good caregivers out there it just makes it easier on the family to take care of their loved one.

I'm very passionate about caring for the elderly. I'm very reliable, punctual, honest, patient, caring, understanding, caring and gentle touch, very intuitive and compassionate. I believe the elderly should be well cared for, listened too , understood and loved. I enjoy being a caregiver because I bring Joy and Happiness to my clients. I also experience Joy, Happiness and Satisfaction caring for my clients. My achievement that I'm proud of is I have been in Healthcare for 9 years. Client's and families consider me part of their family. I believe it is a privilege and honor to care for the elderly.

I became a caregiver so I could give back to my community and people. I like being a caregiver because I can provide help and meet the required needs. Hello, my name is Kat! I'm Dementia safe certified. I have experience with Dementia, parkinsons, bedbound, brain damage, physically and mentally challenged clients of all ages. I work great in all environments male or female. im a quick learner and a good cook (so I've been told). I have 1.5 year experience with caregiving (in home and in facility) and over 2 years of personal family care. i was named caregiver of the month at my last job. I have several referrals. I am looking for 2-4 overnight shifts a week. I have experience assisting clients in bathrooms, medication reminders, eating, companionship, bed bath, and personal hygiene thats needed! Ii achieve to do the best care I can and go out of my way to learn about the seniors I work with. I decided to become a care giver because it's simple I loVe helping and to do this job you have to have a heart for it, I was raised around my great grandmother, and my granny and learning and the talks I would have and remember with them just makes me want to help and learn and listen to others with more knowledge then me so that's wat made me wanna be a caregiver, I wanted to help and make this a career so I recently completed my CNA certificate I also have my CPR certificate because I know it's not always going to be just nice conversation, and good days, I want to be prepared for the bad days as well and I know this job comes with those as well but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world!!!
