I worked as a hospice aide I worked in a psychiatric hospital Macclenny State Hospital for a year I have experience with various personalities as well as sundowners Alzheimer's Parkinson's and muscular sclerosis

I have been in this field for close to 10 years. I'm a very fun outgoing person. I am a single mom of two kids ( young adults) I enjoy the beach, fishing,sunning,swimming and spending time with my family I got in this profession because my late grand mother had Alzheimer's and was wheel chair bound, I love the elderly and treat them with love,compassion and respect as they were my own. I feel the elderly paved the way for our generation, have put in many years of their heart and soul into our communities in some way and deserve to be in their own environment where they feel comfortable and safe. In my eyes not only am I helping them but they help me as well, from stories of their past to the way the world has changed. I have not met an elderly person that I haven't learned something from. My grandmother has been an caregiver for over 40 years that is reason why I became a caregiver in the first place. she was present the day I was born the nurse that took care of me and my mother over 32 years old. she recently retired over a month ago after 40 years of service providing clients with care I'm very proud of her. I want to personally be proud of myself I want her to be proud of me the same way. I'm 32 years old and proud mother of 3 kids I been married for 6 years, I have been assistant manager at McDonald for 10 years. I have been an nursing assistant for 13 years I take care of my mother who is ill been ill for the last past year. my passion is helping people that is my passion in life also my purpose.
