I see myself as being patient, kind, energetic, willing to learn, always asking questions, planning ahead, quick learner, compassionate caregiver. I remain calm during critical decisions, ability to help maintain comfort in my clients during accidents or incidents. Paying a close eye to details regardless of how small, is one of my traits, as well as waiting certain situations out until the client is ready to go forward.

I believe I am a good caregiver because no matter the circumstances I'm here to help in any way , shape or form ! I became a caregiver at the age of 14 my father is disabled veteran so since then I've been by him and my moms side taking care of him with her ! I've always had a hunch for helping others especially elderly people ! They really are the sweetest and most times just like having company! My goal as a caregiver is to ultimately help others in anyway I can !

I got in to health care in order to help people. I taking care of people and helping them with there's needs I Was able to help a patient go from not being able to take care of her daily needs to achieving 90% of daily needs. I have been in Helth field for over 50 years I started at age 14 as a CNA. I have other achievement as well. I've taken patient's from almost 0 self-care to at least in most cases 50%.. I feel it is very important for individuals to be as independent as they can be. In some cases that may not be able to be accomplished, but if working with an individual and put your heart into it, I believe you're able to achieve a lot of progress.. the individuals that I care for are always my top priority.

I have always been the caregiver in my family when it comes to taking my grandparents on their daily routines, doctors appointments, etc. Caring for family members who are post operation, have had a medical emergency, or are just in need of companionship. I became a care giver,because I love helping people,care giving gives me the chance to help the families out with problems,care when they are short with help,and I can help them in other ways too.Helping people feel like people,and care for them,better than a nursing home can do,and save them money too. I'm 59 yrs old,5'7,divorced,own my own property my 80 yr dad lives with me,he is now better,that I changed his doctor,She had him on medicines that were making his heart slow down,and swelling of his legs,and weeping,due to on warfin too long.Now that he is off,he is much better. I am looking for light housekeeping and companion work only no heavy lifting at all looking to stay in the Hudson Route 52 New Port Richey area I won't go to Holiday and I'm going to go to Spring Hill just the local areas and if it's local it's like $10 an hour instead of 15 I have my own vehicle background check went through okay I don't drink smoke or do drugs and I drive I also do pet sitting for seniors

I am always on my feet, I'm walkways wanting to help others and understand others just as much as I want others to do the same for me. I'm very open, I'm dedicated. Wanting to be a caregiver was unexpected for me, it was something that I felt like I could learn from until I wanted to be a CNA. The main thing I enjoy about caregiving is the ability to be present and being able to see and hear a store from a resident or someone who is bed bound, they tend to always have a story. Being able to help someone period just makes me happy. Personally I feel like I haven't achieved anything due to distraction in life. I always tend to work hard and can never make time for my life but I do have a list of things that WILL be achieved and I WILL be proud.
