I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

I like to help people who doesn't have the ability to help themselves. When I see the elders I am picturing my mother. I like giving them care, I also like to see them going to the next level while I'm with them. I'm a married woman I have four children and two grandchildren.

I am married with a 14yr old son and im the oldest of 7 so im pretty much use to being the person others depend on and leaning on me for support. I started out in the health field in 2008 working with the disabled people.. From the ages of 5 and up. I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech, I am currently in school for Radiology Tech. I definitely love my health career and plan on staying in this field for a while

Hi! My name is Shenya I am currently a junior Nursing major at Georgia State University. My attraction to caregiving started with my grandmother who was ill most of my life. I helped my family out a lot when it came to her health. I helped her bathe, cook, made sure she took the proper medication for the day and also refill her medicine. I cared for her from 2012-2015. Even though my experience is limited I do have the knowledge from learning over the past few years.

I am upbeat and very friendly! I'm very compassionate and patient. Some things I feel that makes me a great caregiver is my integrity, punctuality, reliability, and my ability to observe and learn my clients pretty quickly. What attracts me to being a caregiver in particularly is I am passionate about helping the elderly because I've witnessed the negligence that elder people endure. For example, I have a client who is cognitive impaired and is living in a nursing facility. On several occasions I've stopped nurses from giving her the wrong medications, amongst other things. I can honestly say I really love what I do, and I love and care for my clients like they are family!

I am an very outgoing person . In my free time I love cooking and cleaning , singing and listening to music . What attracted me most to being a caregiver was the amount of love you feel from someone that's needs your help , it makes me happy inside and out. What I mostly enjoy about being a caregiver is that I get to understand and know my clients much more than just clocking into work and just working . I get the honor to know and understand my clients likes and dislikes. What my client loves and doesn't , I become apart of their lives as much as mines .
