Hi, De'yunka here! I got my start in the United States Marines as an Administrative Specialist. I decided that I needed a change and becoming a caregiver was something that I wanted to try. I am currently working for an agency and my first client was a paraplegic and she taught me a lot, from sponge baths to catheter placement. she also shared with me valuable life lessons and experiences that have helped me as an individual and as a caregiver. I've since added much more training and experiences and I can honestly say becoming a caregiver was the best choice for me.

I Love being a caregiver because I love to help. This is my passion, I've been a caregiver for 24 years. My goal is to be able to listen and give the patient what they need. Showing compassion and respect to my patients is what's important to me. I spent a lot of time with my grandfather as a kid and when I grew up I remember always saying that I wanted to work in the Health field.
