Hello, My name is Cheyanna Fields! I am a 25 years old single mom to the most handsome 2 year old! I am hard working ,independent , self driven, detail oriented, self motivated, organized, clean, and cheerful person! I have been a caregiver for a little over 5 years, I love helping others with day to day life skills and needs I always knew I wanted to help people and once I finally started to I knew I never wanted it to end! Helping others makes me feel so much joy just knowing that the person is being properly cared for. I love getting to know each an every person I get the pleasure of working with. I couldn't be more proud of the field of work I'm in helping others takes a special person, lots of patience and a good heart,thankfully God blessed me with all of that because now I get to love what I do l!

I am a good listener and will double check to make sure that what is asked of me to do is correct.My past and present clients are and have given me great recommendations for my caring attitude. As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is doing the smallest things to get that gratitude.

I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! I enjoy being a caregiver because knowing the fact that I can make someone's life a little easier by assisting them with simple tasks makes me feel so much joy. I truly love what I do.

I have been a CNA for 10 years, and have worked in all different situations in many different facilities. I aspire to go further with my nursing degree, and eventually, hopefully become an RN like my mom. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose, I enjoy helping people. Many life lessons held dearest to my heart, came from the facility where I worked my first 2 years as a CNA. I currently work PRN for an agency based out of Indianapolis. Although I am through an agency, I have been steadily picking up at a facility in Franklin for over 5 years. I am searching for a PRN or part time option closer to home. I'm a single mother of 2 teenagers. I have 10 years experience in home health work and medical assisting.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

I grew up taking care of my mother, and since then I knew that giving care to others would be fulfilling. I enjoy getting to know patients and connect with them and a great supporter.

I became a CNA/caregiver/home health aide because I honestly believe in truly compassionate care for people in need whether is the geriatrics, pediatrics, or the mentally impaired or psych or a combination of all the above. I enjoy knowing that I have helped someone get through another day on this earth with their family and if they don't have any family at least they know someone was there for them when it was needed and proof that there are still nice, caring, and honest people out there.

I'm a happy, compassionate person. I want the best for my clients and will give them just that! I will be not only their Home Health Aide but also their best friend. Not only am I here to take of your loved ones but I'm here for you too!
