Hi everyone Ive been a caregiver for over 5 years i started when i turned 20 helping out a family friend from there i fell in love with being a Caregiver.

I simply became a caregiver because I like to help! I feel rewarded at my job if my client s are taken care of and prospering.

I'm a caring and empathetic caregiver, I have been a Certified Nurses Assistant for 14 years. I have alot of experience working with the elderly along with alhezhemers and demtia patients. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living and home health care . I enjoy helping people and putting a smile on their face. Also, I enjoy being a support system for family members in their time of need when caring for their loved ones.

I've been a CNA for 20 year's.I love doing what I do,i so get Senior's and get along very well with them.I really owe it all to my Parent's who instilled in me to alway's Respect your elder's.My father was really proud of me for being in this line of work.I did a lot for him up until he passed{2012}.I have received award's in Dementia/Alzheimer care,outstanding caregiver and employee of the month.I have learned a lot in my 20 year's and still learning.My client's show me every day how blessed i'am.

I love caregiving because it's such an intimate friendship that you get to build with others in our community and it has impacted and inspired me in a positive and powerful way. I started caregiving to help my mom pay bills when I was 15, and I have yet to look back and regret the time I've gotten to spend with people in their golden years of life. I will forever be grateful for the time I have spent with the people I've gotten to care for.

A few things about me and my role as a caregiver are that I'm friendly, kind, compassionate, understanding, and hard working. For 10 years, I have worked as a caregiver under two professional services, ROI in Michigan and Help-at- Home in Northwest Indiana. The services that I've performed include transportation, personal assistance, physician advocate, medication disbursement, life-skills assistance to people, of all ages, with a variety of physical and mental abilities. Credentials include behavioral, CPR, and First Aid training. I am passionate about caring for those in need giving a helping hand. Knowing I could make a difference in their life and seeing a smile on their face brings joy and purpose to my life! What inspired me to get into caregiving was my Grandma. In the beginning, she just needed help with little things. Then, as time passed she needed all around care. It felt good to help her. I saw a need that I knew I could fulfill, not only for her, but others too. A personal achievement that I am most proud of was becoming an APC (Assistant Program Coordinator). I had applied 2 other times and didnt get the job. I had to build more skills and fight harder for it and the people I loved to help. I am thankful for the experience it has helped me to be a better caregiver.

I am almost 50 love taking care of people. Was a DSP for 9 years. Loved doing what I did I decided to go to school to become a RCMA.I worked really hard and passed my externship with A's. Made the dean's list. Graudated in 2015 am a registered certified medical assistant looking to provide care.

I'm very compassionate. I love taking care of people specially the needy one's I am a very kind hearted person being a passionate about my job make me different and I'm willing to do everything possible to make my clients feel at ease and pleased.

I love helping others. Ever since I was a little girl I loved seeing my older family members and helping them on a regular basis. I'm very responsible and am easy to talk to.
